=== Build Overview === | |||
Highly recommended! | |||
This is a Side by Side damage build centered around high {{keyword|base bravery|basebrv=1}}. Side by Side gives a chunk of assist gauge for doing HP damage, which lets Firion use Kuja assist more often. Whenever Firion gets an HP Wall Rush with Straightarrow or Double Trouble, he can deal over 2000 HP damage. A single Double Trouble Kuja assist combo ranges between 4,130 - 4,712 HP damage. This depends on Firion's combo route, but three assist combos are often enough to win. Since Firion gets HP attacks from his ground braveries and any Straightarrow that hits, he can deal lots of damage quickly. This is true for any character that uses this build such as {{012bez}}, but Firion benefits from it regardless. | |||
Base bravery ignores opponent's DEF stat, so the damage output is pretty consistent, assuming Firion does not get hit often. Thornlet {{equhead}} also reduces bravery slightly whenever Firion successfully dodges or blocks an attack. This can be offset with Back-Breaking Straw {{accsp}}, or {{keyword|punishing|punish=1}} the opponent if their attack has long {{keyword|recovery|recovery=1}}. | |||
The booster accessory multiplier is at x4.6 with Opponent Summon Unused {{accboo}}. If opponent does not have a summon equipped, the maximum multiplier is x3.5. | |||

;Speed Boost++ (+30) | |||
:Faster run speed is nice for Firion, but not mandatory to be a threat. | |||
Most of this build is set up specifically around high base bravery. That means Sniper Eye {{accbas}}, Bravery Orb {{accbas}} and Machinery should not be removed. This build also assumes Kuja assist is used. With that in mind, please note that Straightarrow (Wall Rush) > Air BRV Kuja assist > Assist Chase > Weaponsmaster barely reaches base bravery for Weaponsmaster. Changing certain accessories can alleviate this slightly, so adjust the build at your discretion. | |||

=== Build Overview === | |||
This build has lower {{keyword|base bravery|basebrv=1}} in exchange for higher HP Wall Rush damage and assist gauge depletion. Both Judgment of Lufenia {{equbody}} special effect and Battle Hammer {{accbas}} make sure that an assist combo leaves little to no assist gauge for the opponent. If Firion gets a bravery break, the added HP Wall Rush damage from Chainsaw {{equhand}} and Sniper Eye {{accbas}} scale nicely. Otherwise the stats are similar to the 1623 base bravery build. | |||

=== Build Overview === | |||
Recommended for EX oriented characters, such as {{012gil}}, {{012vaan}} and {{012yuna}}. | |||
This build lets Firion fill EX gauge and adjust his follow-ups depending on his needs. Wild Rose's exceptionally high ATK (+70) makes Firion's Punch follow-up {{pspcir}} a bit more viable for damage. Seal of Lufenia special effect ensures Double Trouble into BRV Kuja assist combo deplete opponent's EX gauge by a lot. On the other hand, Firion has to grab EX Cores to fill EX gauge consistently. And of course, filling assist gauge takes longer with Swordslash and dashing. Ground Dash is used here instead of Omni Ground Dash, it's to filling assist gauge easier. Compared to a Side by Side build, Firion needs more time and successful interactions to reap the rewards. If a match goes on long enough, Firion can eventually take advantage of his EX mode perk Blood Weapon. It is not recommended to consider this Firion's main goal, but a secondary goal with long term benefits. | |||
Avoid using this build against Side by Side users, such as {{012fir}}, {{012ok}}, {{012bez}}, {{012kef}}, {{012zid}} and {{012jec}}. It is better to consider this build for characters who are more EX oriented. But even then, it can take more work to succeed than with a Side by Side build. | |||

Build Overview
Highly recommended!

The booster accessory multiplier is at x4.6 with Opponent Summon Unused

Adjustments
5 capacity points are available, which is not enough for substantial changes. If you want to make room for something else, try removing the following:
- Speed Boost++ (+30)
- Faster run speed is nice for Firion, but not mandatory to be a threat.
Most of this build is set up specifically around high base bravery. That means Sniper Eye
, Bravery Orb
and Machinery should not be removed.
| Equipment / Ability | Substitute | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Omni Ground Dash | Ground Dash | Ground Dash lets Firion fill assist gauge when he approaches. This assumes that Assist Gauge Up Dash ability remains equipped. If Firion does not need directional dashes to move around a stage or create space, this is a reasonable trade-off.
Spot dashing becomes more viable on the ground as well. |
| Lance Combo + Double Trouble | Reel Axe + Double Trouble | Reel Axe can function as a mixup to Rope Knife, and break through blocks. Generally risky when used, worth consideration. |

Build Overview
This build has lower base bravery in exchange for higher HP Wall Rush damage and assist gauge depletion. Both Judgment of Lufenia
special effect and Battle Hammer
make sure that an assist combo leaves little to no assist gauge for the opponent. If Firion gets a bravery break, the added HP Wall Rush damage from Chainsaw
and Sniper Eye
scale nicely. Otherwise the stats are similar to the 1623 base bravery build.

Build Overview
Recommended for EX oriented characters, such as Gilgamesh, Vaan and Yuna.
This build lets Firion fill EX gauge and adjust his follow-ups depending on his needs. Wild Rose's exceptionally high ATK (+70) makes Firion's Punch follow-up
a bit more viable for damage.
Avoid using this build against Side by Side users, such as Firion, Onion Knight, Golbez, Kefka, Zidane and Jecht. It is better to consider this build for characters who are more EX oriented. But even then, it can take more work to succeed than with a Side by Side build.

Adjustments
All capacity points are used. If you want to make room for something else, try removing the following:
- Speed Boost+ (+20)
- Faster run speed is nice for Firion, but not mandatory to be a threat.
