Battlegen (Dissidia 012)

Battlegen is a gameplay mechanic in Dissidia 012 that allows players to create trade accessories during battle. When certain conditions are met during battle and that battle is won, the player has a chance to earn that accessory. This is different from item drops, which work separately from battlegen conditions. However, battlegen is still an effective way to acquire trade accessories, which are used in the shop to create stronger equipment.
The accessories, their battlegen condition and its success rate can be reviewed before each battle during the briefing. Each opponent character has their own set of accessories. In addition, opponents who have equipped any accessories in customization will also be available through battlegen.
Basics

When a player fights against an opponent, their opponent can drop certain trade accessories.
This is a two-step process; First, the player must meet a battlegen requirement during battle, such as "Land HP attack" . When this happens, the accessory has a chance of being created. It may not always happen the first time an HP attack has landed on the opponent, but players can always try again at their discretion. Other battlegen requirements work the same way.
Once the accessory has been created, the game's battle information will notify about it. Meeting the same battlegen requirement multiple times in a fight won't necessarily create multiple copies of that same accessory. Therefore, it is recommended to try meeting the requirement(s) by repeatedly going for it and then quickly finishing the fight once the accessory is created.
The battlegen creation chance can be seen during the battle briefing. The chance can be increased with character's level (both player and opponent), raising the LUK stat and with temporary battlegen boosts from the PP Catalog.
Battlegen is not available in arcade mode or custom quests. Initially, battlegen is not available in online matches either. It can be unlocked by purchasing the "Online Match - Battlegen OK" item in PP Catalog under the system category.
List of Battlegen Items
In Dissidia 012, the battlegen requirements and item names have been standardized for each target. The condition for using an EX Burst is also removed.
Despite the wording "BRV attack finish", it is not required to complete a bravery attack sequence on hit. As long as a bravery attack connects on the opponent, it will be viable for meeting that requirement.
