Overview

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Damage Powerhouse: Garland has absurd damage potential with Drill/Chain combos, and with Bardiche punishes into grounded assists. On top of it he has the strongest ATK Stat Weapon in the game available, all together making him dangerous to get hit by
  • Absurd EX Gain On Hit: Combos build a huge amount of EX which he easily picks up, and often lead into unpunishable empty chase off of Drill. It's very reasonable for Garland to get half a bar and more off of a combo with assist
  • Game Winning EX Revenge: Looping Bardiche during EX Revenge racks up damage fast, leading into ground rush easily into more damage if assist is available. Garland can play this scare factor to an advantage no character can ignore
  • Very Slow In Every Way: He is as slow as he looks. In the lower tier of walk speed/dash speed, one below 20F moves only available grounded and slow air movement
  • Risky HPs: All HPs can be consistently assist punished, making them hard to use in neutral without a good read on the opponent
