Arcade Mode from the original Dissidia returns. It puts the player in a series of battles until they have won them all. All characters have pre-determined equipment, abilities and assist. Attacks cannot be changed, but their directional input can still be customized. Unlike story mode, all resources (health, EX gauge etc.) are reset to default between each fight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Two difficulty levels are available: Normal and Hard. Normal uses LV20 characters for 5 battles, and Hard mode uses LV50 characters for 30 battles. In the Hard mode, opponents start out at lower level than the player character. However, the opponent&amp;#039;s level gradually increases throughout the 30 battles, eventually matching the player at LV50. In the Japanese version of Prologus, opponents could go past the player character&amp;#039;s level after 20 battles, up to LV60.&lt;br /&gt;

Achievements reward the player with items for meeting certain conditions in the game. In Prologus, these conditions primarily revolve around clearing story mode and then arcade mode with different characters.&lt;br /&gt;

Even though the player earns these items, they cannot be used in Prologus. Instead, they will become available in the full game if the player chooses to transfer Prologus save data when starting a new game in Dissidia 012.&lt;br /&gt;
