Overview

Pandaemonium is a stage in Dissidia 012 with multiple interconnected small and narrow areas and low ceiling. Characters can move towards any of these areas from the center of the stage to hide behind walls or combo an unfortunate opponent into a corner with relative ease. A banish trap can be found at the bottom of the central area, with a couple platforms and wall run quickmoves supporting players looking to avoid it.

Pandaemonium is often considered a small stage in competitive play due to the abundance of narrow platforms and lack of wide spaces. Certain characters such as The Emperor and Golbez can occupy a larger amount of available space more easily and characters with high burst damage output such as Onion Knight and Jecht can corner their opponent and capitalise on nearby walls with little regard to their positioning. Pandaemonium does not always make an appearence in tournaments due to focused rulesets (with or without gimmicks) and other small stages providing more user friendly terrain being prioritised in them. However, it is a serviceable stage for counterpick purposes.

Omega variant

Pandaemonium's omega version introduces a dynamic stage hazard. Certain blue bricks on the floor will occasionally turn red. During this time, spikes will spawn from these red bricks, inflicting a modest amount of hitstun and depleting a bit of bravery on hit. That bravery is then added to the stage pool. The red bricks will stay active for a period of time and then change back to blue.

The universally safe zones are marked by gray stones with hexagons on it.

The hitstun from spikes is not generous, but it can be used to interrupt an attack or start a combo.
